Your Region 1 Regional Training Council is busy preparing for another exciting and beneficial year of trainings.  We began the 2008 -2009 school year with a book study at Jackson County Adult School. What an incredible two days! Dr. Bryan Johnson and Mrs. Linda Neel made everyone feel very welcome and comfortable.  Once again we studied and discussed Todd Whitaker's book, What Great Teachers Do Differently.  Everyone left the study feeling energized and ready for a very positive new school year.

We also have two TABE trainings scheduled for September 5, 2008 and September 12, 2008.   TABE 701 (re-certification) will be held September 5th, 9am until 1pm and TABE 101 (initial certification) will be held September 12th, 9am until 5pm.  Both trainings will be held at Pensacola Junior College, 1000 College Blvd., Pensacola, Florida, Building 2 Room 251.
